Heart Disease is not something that I can cover in this brief article, but it is something I want to touch on. It turns out that there are a lot of things you can do besides taking drugs, but even these need to be done under a doctor’s supervision. This is because natural and herbal remedies take time, and if you have already been diagnosed with heart disease you may not have the luxury of time.

More and more studies are showing that the conditions we lump together as heart disease have their beginnings in our childhood. The wrong kinds of fat, not enough fruits and vegetables, and not enough exercise can begin building plagues in our arteries almost from the time we start on solid food. Later on in life these plaques combine with thickened blood from poor diets and poor digestion to cause blood clots that can sometimes block the blood flow to the heart. This is called a heart attack. When the clot blocks the blood flow to the brain it is called a stroke. Another form of heart disease is when then blood is not totally blocked, but just restricted. This usually causes a warning symptom called Angina, which is when the heart is crying out for more blood.

Researchers have found that introducing enzymes into to the blood stream in the right kinds, the right amounts and at the right place can dissolve a clot and stop a heart attack or stroke. If enzymes can stop a heart attack, what about using enzymes to prevent it? Enriching Gifts Plant Enzymes have been shown under a microscope to break up aggregation, a clumping together of the blood cells, of both the red blood cells and the platelets. This reduction in clumping allows the blood to flow easier, thus preventing clotting. This alone can lower blood pressure and increase the blood flow to both the heart and to the brain.

Cholesterol levels are watched is that the plaques we hear about so often are made up of plaques. This is because cholesterol is the band aid our bodies use to heal injuries to the blood vessels and arteries. This damage usually occurs from free radicals. Free radicals are oxygenated cells that are missing a portion; it goes around looking for that portion it can steal from other cells. When it does it damages those other cells. If this occurs on the inside of a blood vessel the body sends in cholesterol to bandage up the damage. We can reduce this damage by making sure we have plenty of anti-oxidants in our blood stream. Two ways of getting them are Enriching Gifts Metabolic Complete and Enriching Gifts Heart Algae. Enriching Gifts Metabolic Complete is a powerful all around anti-oxidant formula.  Enriching Gifts Heart Algae is specifically geared to reduce free radicals and feed the heart and circulatory system. The one you choose will depend on what else is going on with you. Try them one at a time, then stick with the one that works best for you.

Doctors recommend taking vitamins and minerals when you are fighting heart disease. Almost all of them can be found in the Enriching Gifts Complete Vitamins Plus.  Along with these they almost universally suggest taking some type of fish oil. Dr. Mercola has found that Krill oil is his favorite option.

If your doctor says you need to reduce your cholesterol levels try taking Enriching Gifts Sterol-Max with your meals. Two tablets with each meal will help you reduce the amount of cholesterol you absorb from your food.  It has also been shown to reduce inflammation, which in itself contributes to free radicals and therefore heart disease.

If you are recovering from a heart attack, then you will want to reach for Enriching Gifts Aloe Ace-Max. Aloe is a great anti-inflammatory, but at the same time speeds us the regeneration of new and healthy cells. This will reduce both the pain and the time it takes for you to heal.

If you have been diagnosed with heart disease supplements are wonderful, but don’t depend on them entirely. You still need to watch what you eat, and get some exercise every day. Your diet should be low in saturated fats, completely avoid all trans-fats and be full of good dietary fiber, like that found in fruits and vegetables. For your exercise program start slowly. Build up to where you are breaking a sweat, but not to where you are becoming exhausted. Life after a diagnosis of heart problems involves a major life style change. It should be done under a doctor’s supervision, and with the help of a great support group. Don’t try to go it alone. Isolation and stress are also key factors in heart disease, get some help so you aren’t inadvertently increasing those.
